Hobbies
Steve has a wide variety of hobbies, including the
following:
- Helicopters
- Steve flies Robinson R22s out of San Carlos, CA.
There are so many nice places to go in the Bay Area,
including just touring around the bay itself, plus Half
Moon Bay, Napa, and Monterrey.
- Sailing - Steve sails cruising yachts from 25
to 50 feet, often in the San Francisco Bay and Seattle,
but also on extended
trips in the Caribbean, where he skippers larger
yachts with his friends.
- Wine - As a wine enthusiast, Steve
enjoys frequent wine tours in wine country, the Santa
Cruz mountains, and in French countryside. In
addition, he throws wine tasting parties to
bring together good friends and good wine.
- Skiing - Growing up in Maine, Steve have been
skiing for some time now. Whether on the slopes of
Tahoe, Whistler, or the Swiss Alps (see Davos),
Steve enjoys good packed powder. He's also
learning to snowboard.
- SCUBA Diving - Of course, one can't fully
appreciate life on and about the sea without exploring
underneath. Though a bit out of practice, Steve
enjoys hanging with the fish on the reef.
- Travel - As a Globalist, Steve
greatly enjoys going new places and meeting new
people. With 39 states and 25 countries under his belt,
he knows he's only scratched the surface of interesting
places to visit.
